control is a little spotty

the guy is all the way at the top of the screen. the only thing you can see is his legs. this makes movement very difficult. second, his response to movement is WAY too slow. especially if he is going to be at the top of the screen that way. once you see the rock coming, it's too late. make him able to move more quickly and that will help. not a bad concept overall, not a bad game overall. just need to tweek a couple of things.

Use the down arrow to get away from the top of the screen. If that doesn't work then well, you're screwed lol
